Joplin Women Replaces Ugly Crowns With All Ceramic Cosmetic Crowns*

Procedure Details

This patient presented unhappy with her front teeth. Upon examination it was determined that the patient had defective veneers that were staining around the edges. Also, she was missing her lateral incisors. A technique know as canine substitution had been performed when she was in braces. Utilizing this technique the canines are moved to the position of the lateral incisors. In order for this technique to be successful we must take special care to ensure that the the height, width and morphology of each tooth is correct. This usually requires all the teeth in the esthetic zone to be restored. This is the option the patient chose. A smile design was performed and a combination of porcelain veneers and all ceramic crowns were placed by Dr. Brett Cotham.
